An exciting opportunity has arisen to work as a Fleet Officer within Merton.
The role will be supporting the Street Cleansing Manager in upholding the highest standards of regulatory compliance and operational excellence across the street cleansing fleet.
About you:
As the Fleet Officer you will be responsible for supporting the council’s Transport Manager with the management of any Operator’s Licence and appropriate audit systems to document compliance.
Monitor and develop a working partnership with the Waste Collection Contractor to ensure timely maintenance of the Council’s fleet and ensuring drivers and service managers are adequately trained to meet statutory requirements for operating front line service vehicles.
