Advocate

We want to recruit further Advocates within our Social Care and Education team, to join our existing team of Advocates, undertaking advocacy in care proceedings. We are looking for a qualified barrister or solicitor with experience of undertaking multiple day hearings of up to 5 days. We offer the opportunity to work with professional clients, to enhance your knowledge of care proceedings from a local authority perspective and the opportunity to provide training to clients.

We are looking for energetic and enthusiastic applicants, keen to develop their skills in a supportive public sector environment. Please do not be put off if you have not worked in local government before – it is your determination to provide a top-class legal service which will matter most.
