Join our team as a Minimum Energy Efficiency Enforcement Officer and play a crucial role in improving the energy performance of private rented properties in Wandsworth and Richmond.
We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to ensure landlords comply with Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES). You'll conduct property inspections, assess Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs), and take enforcement action against non-compliant landlords.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting property inspections and audits.
Providing advice and guidance to landlords on MEES compliance.
Issuing enforcement notices and penalties.
Maintaining accurate records and databases.
Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Strong knowledge of MEES legislation and EPCs.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to interpret and apply regulations.
Experience in property inspection or enforcement.
